About Charles Herbert
Charles Herbert has a strong background in speech and music. For 15 years, Charles served as an adjunct professor of speech, sharing his expertise with students in the Midwest and Florida. For 21 years, Charles delivered weekly sermons as an ordained member of the clergy, and he has served as a licensed lay reader in the Episcopal Church for five years.
A resident of Lake Wales, Florida, Charles has been the voice of Bok Tower on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services for five years, as well.
Charles' experience with music has also shaped his work with narration. He has been a choir member and tenor soloist in Episcopal parishes for many years. Previously, he's sung as a tenor in the Memphis, Tenn., and Evansville, Ind., Philharmonic Chorus.
Charles also held a small part in a production of "My Fair Lady" in Memphis, in addition to other projects through his career.
